Miss S was just a sweet 3 months old when I met her in studio with her family. I don’t typically shoot this age as it gets a little tricky, they aren’t quite strong enough to hold their heads up for long periods of time, they can’t sit up but they are getting to a curious age where they want to be up and seeing everything, so getting a variety is sometimes tricky. 🙂 Miss S had the most gorgeous eyes and eyelashes ever! Her eyelashes actually touched her eyebrows! She was very happy to be in her mommy and daddy’s arms and so we got some wonderful shots with them too!
If you can find a more perfect set of lips on a newborn….I want to see them! The pout, oh my, so amazing. Mr G was so good and I just loved his session! What a small world it turns out to be, just a few weeks before his session I also took care of the family dog at my other job, the veterinary hospital. Best part about it was that neither dad, nor I realized it until AFTER Mr G’s newborn session! I think I was so focused on their handsome little guy and all his sweetness!
Another little one back for their 6 month photos. And all these children have the most amazing eyes! Seriously, I remember just staring at them while I was editing and thinking “Wow”. (But if you know or met his parents you understand his gorgeous looks!). He was such a good boy, and sitting up all by himself! (Still a little wobbly, but he did so well!). I’m just so in love with all of them! Mommy came and got in a few photos so she could give them to Daddy for Fathers Day, I just loved that and I hope he loved them! (Beautiful son and gorgeous wife together in one photo, how could he not?)
I’m looking forward to continue watching him grow. Sigh. I have a great job.
Well Miss C was back for her 1/2 birthday photos! I don’t know how I’m so lucky to have such wonderful clients and friends; look at how stinkin’ adorable she is! I just love, love, love little toothless smiles. And her eyes and eyelashes, well she is a lucky little girl. Often I see boys with such awesome eyelashes….but she’s got them! (Hey, I pay good money to have eyelashes, I’m totally jealous!).
Mom and Dad popped in for a couple shots (which I LOVE when that happens!). There is something about seeing a dad with a daughter that gets me in the feels every time, perhaps it’s because I have two daughters myself, but whatever it is, lump-in-throat! I just love it. And I just love this family!!
I was thrilled when these two contacted me to photograph not only their bump, but their little beeb when she arrived. I’ve known Daddy for a very long time, since we were small kids, growing up in the bowling alley. … Continue reading →
I first met Mr L’s mama a few years ago when I purchased a couple photography items from her, she was running a business making headbands and I love supporting local businesses. I then photographed his big sister for her cake smash. Here we are now, Mr L is turning one and it was his turn! Look at those amazing eyes, BOTH kids have incredible eyes that you just can’t help but stop and stare….they are so cute!
Mama made his super cool banner for his cake smash (how adorable!) and what a great way to preserve some of those milestones! If you are looking for headbands, items for your children or photography props, head over to Lena and Lu Prop Stop on facebook (https://www.facebook.com/LenaLuPropStop?fref=ts) and take a look at all her awesome items!
Being a photographer, I sometimes feel like I have many, many more children than I actually do. I get to grow with these families and children and fall in love with them. Mr I, well I can’t even tell you how many sessions his family has come to Windsor for since he was nestled warmly in his mama’s womb. He’s now THREE years old! And TALKING! So incredible for me. And he was SO SO SO good for his 3rd birthday session…following every direction I asked of him. (I know he is such a good boy, but I bet his mama wishes he always followed directions so well!). Even when I asked him to give me his best serious (first photo) and grumpy (second photo) he totally nailed it!
I love you sweet Mr I!
I have been photographing Mr E. since he was in the womb! And I have loved watching him grow over this first year. Some times, my babies look very different from when they were newborns, and other times, like with Mr E, they look exactly like they did as a newborn….only bigger! His sweet cheeks and little blond curly wisps have been growing and getting cuter every time I see him! Always the cautious guy, he holds his smiles in and cracks one every once in a while….at least with those he doesn’t know. He’s a bowl full of smiles when it comes to mommy and daddy snuggling him! Happy Birthday Mr E!!!
