Recently Julie was the silent auction winner of my gift certificate at Woofa Roo Pet Festival. She wanted to have the session at her cottage home with her extended family. And what a beautiful family it is! Look at this gramma with all her beautiful grandchildren?
Each family was so sweet and wonderful. And of course, melt my heart, a sweet new baby too! She was just 4 weeks old and although her parents were a little skeptical that I would be able to get her to sleep and pose her (they said she was a stinker with her hands in her face) I got it! And I was so excited to see her little sweetness posed on my bed on the beach!
Julie should be incredibly proud of her beautiful family and sweet grandchildren.
I love seeing my newborns again! A “couple” years ago I used to work with this beautiful mama before she left the animal field to cross over to the “human world”. 🙂
It’s been a little while since I saw her and I was so happy to see the little man since his newborn session! He was so smiley (and active!) and it was so much fun to see how excited he was and how happy this family is.
He also seemed quite proud of himself that he could stand on my little bed!
I forgot to post these! Just before Father’s day one of my wonderful clients asked me to do a shoot with her boys as a surprise to her husband. I have photographed this family on multiple occasions; including their wedding and their newest additions newborn session so I was excited to see them again. My sweet baby (who is just a tad bigger than he was before) fell asleep so we took advantage!
How cute are they!??
I have been photographing part of this family for 3 years now and I just love them! This time it was the extended family!
This little boy is hands down one of the most polite, sweet, thoughtful little boys I have even known. And I love when he says my name! Everything I ask of him is “Sure!”, “Ok!” and “Alright!” with such sweet enthusiasm. And melt my heart these photos with his furry “cousin”!
And this dog….well he was just about he most co-operative, smiley dog I’ve ever met (And I work in the Veterinary field!). He smiled for every photo and just kept looking at me! It was such an awesome time!
And a big happy anniversary to these two grandparents!!
Miss H was back in the studio for her 1/2 birthday photos and what a sweetie she is! My daughters (especially my youngest) just loved her and wanted to hold her the whole time. She has the most beautiful eyes and sweet blond hair; and her smile is too cute! I can only imagine how much her cheeks get kissed when she is this sweet! Honestly, she looks so much like a cabbage patch doll!
Recently I had the opportunity to photograph not only my co-worker, but friend’s extended family. Gramma and Grampa are definitely blessed with these 4 little boys; lots of energy, lots of spunk and an abundance of cuteness. We did the photoshoot at the grandparents home and boy is it beautiful! I loved it. Grampa also had an amazing car that he built himself (and it is clear these 4 grandsons love it and that Grampa loves that they love it!)
Mr A had the cutest little cheeks I’ve ever seen! It took all my might to keep photographing him and not keep stopping to pinch those cheeks (seriously, they were so soft and squishy!). His mama brought an adorable hat (and matching booties) that were beautifully made for him before he was born and I think he liked it! (look at that sweet smile, how can you not smile back?)
What an angel~!
What a small world we live in, it turns out that I have met Mama and Papa with their other baby; their fur baby! I use to take care of their cute little fluff ball at my previous clinic~!
I love when parents bring fun things to use during a session and they certainly did! Dad works on hydro lines and brought all his gear; initially I had no idea why but when they asked if I could get these shots, I was excited. And even more thrilled with how they turned out! I want to emphasize newborn and child safety and I will never compromise a baby’s safety to get a shot. These images are the result of a composite. This means that multiple photos are put together to get this final shot. At no point was the baby left “hanging” and mom was in each photo holding him safely. (Isn’t that cool!?)
A few weeks ago I was having a production company come to my studio to shoot a short promotional/information video about my business. I was so excited. And so nervous! I put out a model casting call for this and this little guys sweet family volunteered to be part.
We had just about 1 hour to shoot (which is much shorter than a typical newborn session) and Mr T didn’t want to miss anything! But with perseverance and gentle shhshhing and rocking we got him sleeping for a few shots during the video shoot.
I then had my part in front of the camera to talk about newborn photography a bit~I must say, it’s certainly different being in front of the camera!
If anyone needs a video like this I highly recommend to contact Rebecca with Howlin’ Media and Think Speak Windsor – she was awesome!
Miss A was back for her 1/2 birthday session! She was such a tiny peanut when I first photographed her at just 12 days new (and her mom is just a peanut herself!)….seeing her this time- she certainly has grown into a sweet little chunky monkey! Mama’s milk is rich! Good job mama!
She was so good for her session and I loved seeing her smile as it made her big cheeks even bigger and more kissable. I just love seeing my babies again!
