Miss C was back again with her beautiful parents for her cake smash! Why does time go so quickly when children are involved? I feel like a broken record saying it, but seriously! Having photographed her over this past year was just so fun! She is just so beautiful with her long lashes and her cute little chicklet teeth! She wasn’t too thrilled about the cake smash part; I’m not sure who had more fun with the cake (and tasted more) her or daddy! 🙂 And a shout out to her talented mama for making her cake smash set up! Happy Birthday Miss C ❤
This beautiful mama to be and I went to highschool together *a few years ago* and seeing her again made me realize that some people don’t change. She is still a vibrant, funny, excitable, can’t-keep-still kinda girl! And I love, love, loved shooting her! Knowing from personal experience with my previous pregnancies, not every woman embraces the changes during pregnancy. It can be difficult to see such major body changes and truly love them. Christina is not one of those women. She is a love-everything-about-her-belly woman. Listening to her, she adores her belly, the bigger the better! She feels beautiful and sexy (and she should; look at her!). We had a great time shooting. I do have to admit, I was slightly jealous, I am a few weeks behind her in my own pregnancy but I could not move as fast as her! I swear she did a handspring back to her feet after I had her laying on her back- I could barely get up from sitting! Haha. Of course, I cannot forget about dad. He is very excited to meet his little man and clearly in love with this beautiful mama!
And although I could not accept shooting her newborn as it is too far into my own pregnancy to complete it, I can’t wait to hear of his arrival. Any day now!
I am greatly looking forward to photographing this wedding next year! It will be my first wedding coming off my maternity leave in the new year and after spending some more time with this two; it’s going to be so much fun! We laughed and talked the whole time….lots and lots of laughing and giggling. Both of them were so adorable; I know nerves set in and it can feel awkward having your photo taken (I feel it every time we have our own photos taken!) but these two rolled with everything I asked and giggled and laughed the whole way. I can tell their wedding is going to be full of love and fun; and I bet some major side hurting laughs!

A few weeks ago I kept this beauty over night at my house while her mommy and daddy got married. I was able to spend half the day with mommy while she got ready for her big day and watch her and her husband say I Do in a beautiful ceremony. When I got home with Zoey I thought it would be fun to take her into the studio and do some photos as a surprise to her mama and papa. Zoey and my own old man, Titan, got along so well. She was such a good girl, I only wish I had known the reason she wouldn’t sit for me during photos was because she doesn’t sit on hard floors without a blanket! Haha. I learned this at the very end of her little shoot 🙂
Congratulations Mommy & Daddy on your wedding day!
It is fitting that my sweet Miss A is my 200th blog post! 🙂 This adorable girl has been coming to me since she was a newborn, for various shoots and model shoots too! She is just the sweetest; it’s unbelievable how well she listens when given any direction for her photos. And her smile melts my heart. My husband has also fallen in love with this little girl; he comments every time he sees her photos and has even said she makes him want another child (and since we’re having another baby perhaps we should thank her?). I am happy to call her parents my friends and love both our professional relationship and personal friendship.
A couple months ago I had the pleasure of meeting this adorable family and photograph their excitement as they awaited another sweet boy to add to their family. Little Mr L was too cute! He was all giggles and just loved his mama so much. Watching these three interact with each other was just so sweet- and allowed me to capture some very cute moments. I am excited to meet their little guy, he’s one of my last newborns booked before I begin my own maternity leave!
