I first met Mr L’s mama a few years ago when I purchased a couple photography items from her, she was running a business making headbands and I love supporting local businesses. I then photographed his big sister for her cake smash. Here we are now, Mr L is turning one and it was his turn! Look at those amazing eyes, BOTH kids have incredible eyes that you just can’t help but stop and stare….they are so cute!
Mama made his super cool banner for his cake smash (how adorable!) and what a great way to preserve some of those milestones! If you are looking for headbands, items for your children or photography props, head over to Lena and Lu Prop Stop on facebook (https://www.facebook.com/LenaLuPropStop?fref=ts) and take a look at all her awesome items!
I met Miss H’s parents when I photographed them just a few short weeks before her debut. I loved watching them together, loved seeing how doting dad-to-be was on his beautiful wife. He was gentle and kind and always making sure she was ok. And I see there will be no difference now that he has a beautiful daughter here. She was such a doll and I felt honoured and excited to be able to photograph her (and it appears she also was excited to meet me as she arrived 2 weeks early!). I loved her chubby little cheeks and she had the cutest little newborn belly button!
One of my major goals in studio, especially newborn, sessions is to create a calm, warm, soothing environment. Not just for my little babes, but for their families as well. I am, of course, handling their most precious bundle, their pride and joy, their newest of newborns. It warms my heart to learn and know when I have succeeded. Mama and Papa made me proud and laugh when they asked if I did babysitting as well since I was so gentle and good with her, and that they felt like they had a few hours of relaxation without stress. Perfection. That is perfection. And then came these final photos…..
