And baby makes Four…

The request from another photographer to be their photographer is ALWAYS humbling and such an honour. We have so many incredibly talented photographers in the Windsor/Essex/Chatham-Kent area that it truly is like, you want ME? Wow! Thank you! I hadn’t yet met Bianca in real life, only through social media magic so I was super excited to meet her when we photographed her maternity session.

Not going to lie, it’s also a little nerve wracking to photograph another photographer; let’s be real, imposter syndrome is real! Will they judge my techniques? Will they judge how weird I am? Will my work be what their hearts envisioned? It’s true. We really do think this way! (Trust me, us photographers talk about this all the time!)

But it was a breeze, Bianca’s daughter….she made me laugh so much, her beautiful big eyes and her sweet expressions (and her endless help of giving mommy all the toys haha) and when I heard her husband express his thoughts when she walked out in this purple gown….it melted my heart! He said “this. this is what I wanted for her. I love being part of it, but I want her to feel like this. I wanted THIS for her” as he gazed upon his incredibly beautiful wife. Sigh! All the heart eyes!

I don’t get to often shoot against such a dark background so I was excited when Bianca chose this! And, I’m in love!!
